A dedicated volunteer who believes in giving back to his community, he has served as a representative on the boards of directors of Habitat for Humanity and Windfall Dancers, Inc. He served four years as a Redevelopment Commissioner and has co-sponsored "Jazz in July" at the Indiana University Art Museum.
